Accessible Canvas Microcourse

Angie explains accessibility in a way that’s simple, approachable, and confidence-building. The course reinforced what I knew, filled in gaps I didn’t realize I had, and gave me practical resources I could immediately use and share.

About The Course

Accessible Canvas is a self-paced microcourse designed to help you or your institution make digital course content accessible. Created by a practicing teacher, it respects your time and emphasizes practical skills you can use immediately.

You don’t need to be an accessibility expert to get your course content accessible. Build the confidence and skills needed to align your courses with the most current accessibility standards, including WCAG and Title II/ADA.

The course includes 5 modules, available for a flat fee for individuals and tiered pricing packages for groups. Modules include 14 no-nonsense videos (3–5 minute videos each), plus lots of examples and tools faculty can apply to their own Canvas courses. Most faculty complete the course in 75–90 minutes, including unit knowledge checks and a pre- and post-assessment.

The explanations in each module made accessibility feel approachable. I never put much thought into headers before, but this course helped me feel more confident improving our ADA standards. It’s a great baseline for anyone working to make their Canvas courses more accessible.
