About Angie Teaches
It begins and ends with helping students. What started as a journey to create quality, accessible video content for my students grew into two YouTube channels—Angie Teaches Math and Angie Teaches Canvas—and eventually into something much bigger. Along the way, I’ve shared hundreds of free tutorials and resources that continue to support both students and teachers.
Today, Angie Teaches Media helps educators and institutions make teaching and learning more effective, engaging, and accessible. From free resources to custom videos, Canvas course design, faculty training, and digital accessibility support, I provide solutions that blend my classroom experience with a passion for clear, creative media.
About Angie
I’m a math professor with over 25 years of teaching experience and more than a decade designing and delivering online courses in Canvas LMS. In addition to teaching, I work with the faculty at my community college in my role as an in-house professional development facilitator and new faculty trainer. I am so lucky to have a job I love!
Through Angie Teaches Media, I’ve been able to connect with students and educators around the world. When I’m not teaching or creating, you’ll find me hiking, costuming for local community theaters, or spending time with my husband and three grown boys in Washington state.
